Her dad must've booked Majella in for a visit. Karina has led a very sheltered middle class life and is planning to take the plunge and become a croupier in Italy to teach herself about the world. Daddy thinks it would be a good idea. Majella takes a shine to Karina. She sees a way in and takes it.
